Every assessment starts by measuring current capabilities, then identifies priorities, builds targeted skills, and tracks progress over time.

Establish Point A

A scenario-based assessment in a synthetic workspace evaluates how people apply AI in realistic work scenarios across business and technical roles. The result is a clear baseline of current capabilities.
Step 2

Prioritize the gaps

Each learner reviews their results and selects the capabilities to develop next based on their own goals, rather than a one-size-fits-all curriculum.
Step 3

Generate the path

Based on those priorities, SkillCheck automatically builds a personalized learning path focused on the capabilities that matter most, without relying on generic curricula.
Step 4

Re-assess and iterate

At the end of the learning path, each learner measures their progress and takes a new assessment to identify new capability gaps. Each assessment becomes the starting point for the next stage of development.
How scoring works

Expert-designed.
Research-informed

Every assessment is built on scoring rubrics developed by psychometricians and subject-matter experts, informed by research and real-world data. Every score is measured against those predefined standards to ensure consistent, objective results.

Assessments run in a synthetic workspace that mirrors real work without touching production systems, codebases, or company data. Organizations can choose to use their own AI tool licenses or our AI Skills Assessments.
Configurable proficiency thresholds
Skill gaps are flagged using configurable thresholds, including below 30% and 30–50% capability representation, helping identify where development is needed most.
Targeted learning paths
Learning paths focus on the capabilities that fall below each threshold, rather than assigning a generic curriculum.
Built around your standards
L&D and HR teams can adjust those thresholds to reflect their own capability standards and learning priorities.
